Design: Bold blocks of pelicans and tuna fish motifs in a bright palette of red, yellow, blue, white and brown.
Technique: Slit tapestry, warp and weft camelid fibers
Dimensions: 162 x 157 cm (5' 4" x 5' 2")

One row (three images) has been removed from this otherwise complete piece. This was done by the previous owner, who said that the panels were totally destroyed. It is clear to see where the piece was resewn. Throughout the piece there is staining and some unraveling, particularly in one corner. There has been some reweaving in a white-brown coloration and some other small areas of reweaving.
